We asked our featured guests to share some of their valuable wisdom with us.

Jen shares that “Instead of speeding up and then slowing down, trying slowing down to speed up.

What makes you truly happy and fulfilled? So many of us spend hours working, trying to squeeze in our lives. I invite you to consider focusing on the life you want to create and then let me help you build your business around it.

1. Take a few hours alone to really determine your core values and what fulfills you? Narrow down to 3.
2. Looking at your schedule, where do you have time blocked for these 3 priorities in your life? If nowhere, block time daily and/or weekly to dedicate specifically to what’s really important in your life. These get done no matter what!
3. Then—continue to fill your schedule with activities, appointments, networking, meetings in your business ensuring they remain in alignment with your core values.
4. Consider how well you are performing in the following areas: Clarity of brand, message and values; Are you nurturing or neglecting your Community/Connections; Is your Communication creating a impeccable Customer Experience or just satisfying your clients; How Credible are you in you- truly?; and are you asking for support through Coaching, mentoring and accountability?”

Lisa reminds us that “You are more powerful than you think, and one moment can create different future. Through understanding how to energetically lead ourselves we can tap into the quantum field and shape our world. This power is available in us NOW.”

Korinne shares that “In life and work, it’s all about our personal Mindset. How much are you influenced by what other people think and how do you deal with this? For instance; you have your agenda for the day and yet you are being pulled in all directions – everyone wants a piece of you! How do you deal with that while getting your own agenda done?

These 2 Tools that have helped me so much in my business;

1. First know that “Multi-Tasking” is more likely to actually be “Task-Switching” and research shows that it takes on average 6 minutes to re-focus on your original task each time you switch tasks. Add that up – how much time does that cost you over the course of a day?
2. If you are being asked to take time out from a task to action something else, ask yourself the following questions;
• How important is that other task on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being high)?
• Who is it of most importance to and why?
• How does that compare to the importance of your own task on a scale of 1 to 10?
• Who is asking you to stop what you’re doing? E.g. if it’s your boss, ask them how they would rate the importance of each task.
• Who else / what else could help the other person if you can’t at that moment?

Get into the habit of doing this each time (it literally takes seconds) and it will help you to keep focused on what is most important.”
