Why WSA?
I joined WSA because I love to teach and train and to share my message and I knew it would be a way to explore ways to do that on a broader scale. I immediately found it to be a welcoming atmosphere offering resources and opportunities at every turn. In my initial experiences, connections were made, in the Facebook group; on the Associate Member Welcome Call; the Premier Member Call; and SpeakerChats on Twitter. Since I love connections and supporting others, it was a great fit for me. Tracey Ehman was my first personal contact with WSA and she embodies all that it stands for: support, connection and collaboration – all the things I value in my work. In a short amount of time, my support of the Facebook group became a formal opportunity and it was an easy “yes”to help manage our Facebook page.
